Working with different sample rates
Note: The following configuration setup is not recommended. It is always recommended to work with one ASIO driver and to have only one sample rate. This information is only provided for sake of completeness to demonstrate TP capabilities to work with different sample rates.
Because Turbo Play audio files are raw floating-point files, it is possible to send data with a different sample rate than your ASIO's driver. The steps are these:
To play tracks that have specific sample rate, the steps are these:
The same configuration can be done with VSTs that have loaded using a specific sample rate.
It is possible to configure a track's autolinks by setting it to read/write to specific resampling mixers and linking these resampling mixers to the ASIO driver manually.
Note: Sample rate information is not saved in TPR,TPW,MP3 or WAV. If you attempt to save tracks with different sample rates, TP will not allow you to continue. You can reset the track to the original sample rate, save the file, then when loading, set the track back to its custom sample rate. TP will store specific sample rate information within TP files, but will not save these tracks with the specific sample rate attached.
